App crashes

Hello,

I’m using the app on my Android Pixel 8 phone

OSM date stamp: 4/6/2026
Version: 3.6.1
Device: Google - Pixel 8 - Android: 16 - WebView: 146.0.7680.177
App-Version: 3.6.1 - 6693
Screen: 412 x 915 px - 2.625dppx

I’ve read the forum post and had made all the suggested permission and battery settings and am still having issues.

The app works fine on my Samsung Active 5 tablet, just not on my phone where i’d like to use Android Auto.

The problem

After I load a route in my my routes library the application is non responsive. The only way I can get the app to work again is to force stop and clear all cache and stored data.

After I clear cache and stored data I can open the application, re log into my account. Then when I try load a route the app freezes again.

Please Help

Of course that’s not how it’s supposed to be. How long is the route you’re trying to load? Do you get an error message first, or does the app just freeze?

Of course after posting this, I think i narrowed down the issue.

I believe the route is corrupted in some way. I can get other routes to load. Just this one puts the app in a state where I need to force stop it, and clean all the stored and cached data.

I was able to open and save as a new route on my tablet, alter it and save. Then open it on my phone.
