The map zoom can be configured to work with the volume keys. This works when I use the volume keys of the smartphone.

Map zoom with volume keys utilizes internally the phone’s volume buttons.

But it doesn’t work when I use the volume turning knob from the Sena device with which I also can control the sound volume.

That is different, it’s mapping of external bluetooth volume keys with zoom.

Now there is support of map zoom with directional keys of external devices.
