Being a previous Sygic user and loving kurviger i must say i really need the option to display distance to POI which are on the planned route. I’m using the POI had station always: on the navigation screen the distance to up to 3 gas stations are shown. This gives me enough info to decide whether we’re can continue riding or need to select the gas station. In case no gas station is shown we do need to stop in time and search for one. With kurviger you always have to stop and search. Showing them on the navigation screen would really help. Mean distance to preset waypoints on route (discussed in feature topic below)? Currently can show distance to next waypoint (tap distance panel at top right). I mean distance to a POI category like fuel stations. Not the distance to a waypoint. Personally i don’t see the advantage of having the distance to a waypoint since my waypoints are merely used to steer the planning to a certain direction. ---

would be to much information for me what should be shown there? only POI along your route? → the next station can be 230 km away, while a good gas station is just 100 m next to your route any POI in the area? → the next station can be 10 km behind you in wrong direction, while a good one is 15 km in the right direction, so you need to look again in remote areas I need to worry about gas at 170-km-since-last-refuel in urban areas at 200-km-since-last-refuel so I stop, I see ALL staions at one glance and take the one that I want ---

Only POI along the route should be shown. This gives the first indication whether you have to stop early or can continue without risk ---

Calculate continuously the distance from user location to arbitrary map coordinates (i.e. POI) can only be done if use the straight beeline distance. So no actual road distance can be offered and cannot see how this can be useful, when beeline vs road distances can be vastly different. Plus there are no POI markers along the route anyway, only waypoints to be handled [elsewhere](https://forum.kurviger.com/t/app-display-the-distance-to-a-certain-waypoint-during-navigation/220). ---

Just wondering how for example SYGIC handles this then. In their calculation it is possible but I’ve got no clue why. Anybody? ---

Provided there are POI from some source and they’re _next to the route_, then can project them on the route and calculate the road distances up to those virtual points. That’s how all these algorithms work. ---

Heute mit Kurviger navigiert und es gefällt mir sehr gut. Immer mit TomTom gefahren und dann merkt man, dass Kurviger das Routing besser macht (schönere Straßen). Wo TomTom besser ist, ist jedoch die Tankstellenanzeige auf der Route mit der Routenleiste. Ich stelle fest, dass es mehr Leute im Forum gibt, die Verbesserungen sehen wollen. Der Wunsch ist es, die nächste Tankstelle (Entfernung) und die Tankstelle danach auf der Route für die Entfernung zu haben. Wenn ich mit dem Motorrad unterwegs bin und noch 50 km zu fahren habe, ist es hilfreich zu wissen, ob ich die erste Tankstelle benötige oder ob ich zur nächsten Tankstelle weiterfahren kann (oder wenn es keine gibt mit POI suchen). Die aktuelle Methode ist mit POI zu umständlich und ich muss pausieren. Wenn möglicherweise zu viele Informationen auf dem Routenbildschirm angezeigt werden, können Sie über den Routenpfeil oben links schnell einen Überblick über die nächsten auf der Route angezeigten Tankstellen erhalten. Besser ist jedoch, wenn es sofort auf dem Bildschirm angezeigt wird (möglicherweise einstellbar). ---

Guten Morgen, hat sich hier etwas schon in die vorgeschlagene Implementierung getan das man bei einer Route die nächsten z.b. 3 Tankstellen die sich auf der Route befindet mit Entfernung angezeigt bekommt? ---

Ιdeally this can be combined with offline search. Hello, it might be your preference to stop. But how many times are you going to stop? As long as fuel stations are indicated within my driving range on the route i van keep on riding (which is the goal). I stop to check when no fuel stations are shown… ---

Hallo, ich habe einen Verbesserungsvorschlag bzw ein Anliegen. Ich bin mit einer Vespa GTS 300 unterwegs auf Tour. Diese hat leider “nur” eine Reichweite von ca. 180 km weswegen es mit der Tankstellenplanung manchmal etwas “spannend” ist, vor allem abseits der großen Routen oder in den Alpen. Man ist im Prinzip immer am hadern ob man besser schon nach 100km bereits wieder tankt weil man nie weiß was noch so kommt - oder auch nicht kommt. Wäre/ist es möglich auf dem Navigationsbildschrim eine Entfernungsanzeige zur nächsten Tankstelle (egal wo, auf, neben, vor, hinter der Route etc.) einzublenden???! Dies wäre insofern hilfreich als das man abschätzen kann ob man tankt oder eben noch weiterfährt → Restreichweite vs. Entfernung nächste Tankstelle. 🕶 Das man sich die Tankstellen anzeigen lassen kann ist mir bewusst und das mache ich auch so. Aber ich will ja auch mal nach vorne schauen und Landschaft genießen und nicht immer mit dem Daumen auf dem Display Entfernungen schätzen 🤪 Vielleicht bin ich auch nur eine Minderheit mit der Vespa und der GS Fahrer möge müde lächeln 😄 Ciao Lorenzo Hi, I have a suggestion for improvement or a concern. In principle, you are always struggling whether it is better to refuel after 100km because you never know what will happen - or not. Would / is it possible to show a distance display to the next petrol station on the navigation screen (no matter where, on, next to, in front of, behind the route etc.) ???! This would be helpful insofar as you can estimate whether you are refueling or just driving on → remaining range vs. distance to the next petrol station. I am aware that you can view the petrol stations and I do that. But I also want to look ahead and enjoy the landscape and not always estimate distances with my thumb on the display.
