@Maxx18 most smartphones shouldn’t discharged when connected to 2A (some tablets might, but smartphones should be alright). Have you tried apps like this one to check how much power your charger is delivering to your smartphone? If this is somewhere in the 1A area, this might not be enough and you should either try a different cable or charger.
