While on a 3 week tour in Scotland I used Kurviger all the time. I was getting low on fuel and decided to add a fuel station to the navigation route. After I added the fuel station I decided the one I selected was to far from the route and added a 2nd fuel station that was on the route. I then tried to skip the first fuel station and could only skip the original waypoints. Neither of the two fuel stations I added where skip able. I would expect all waypoints could be skipped if needed.
My workaround was to research and add fuel stations along the route each evening for the next day.
That behavior sounds unusual – normally, fuel stations you add (also) during navigation are treated as regular waypoints and should be skippable like any other.
It’s hard to tell what went wrong in hindsight. Has this happened to you more than once? If it’s reproducible, that would definitely help track it down.
I’m unable to reproduce the issue. When I add a fuel station while in navigation mode, Kurviger treats it as a regular via point. For example, in the screenshot, waypoints 3 and 7 are fuel stations. I can skip them simply by selecting a later waypoint on the route.
It’s possible there’s a misunderstanding: Kurviger doesn’t let you select what to skip, but rather where you want to skip to.
If you accidentally added a fuel station and want to remove it, you can do so by pausing navigation, tapping the fuel station on the map, and then deleting it.
I could reproduce similar behavior on the first try, although I added two gas stations as you described in your initial post. I was able to skip the first one, but not the second one - so there is apparently still some in there.
This is my misunderstanding. My confusion is over the button labeled ‘skip’. This makes it sound like you want to skip the waypoint. Maybe a better button label would be ‘Go To’ or ‘Skip To’ makes more sense to me.
