Not a great occasion, but welcome to everyone anyway!
I hope, reducing dependencies from online services in the app will get a higher priority soon, I understand that it cannot be removed completely, but there are some things that can definitely be improved, like:
Not having to wait for cloud service to be able to save the tracked ride (this should be an easy fix IMHO).
Being able to load routes from the locally synchronized cloud routes without workarounds through “route history” or exporting routes to local files.
I had a similar issue 2-3h ago with app: Although I did not log out, my mobile phone was not logged in when I started Kurviger app.
2 or 3 tries to log in via Google were not successful, later it worked again.
At this time for me it was not urgent, so no severe issue, but I fully agree to post above: As long as Kurviger relies so strong on server (routing, cloud), nearly 100% availability is an importing topic.
Of course a cloud can not be implemented offline, but the missing fallback to use offline routing is for me the main disadvantage of K3 compared to other systems (K1, Garmin, TomTom, …).
