Closure of Route de Wasserbillig in Echternach

I’m planning a route through Echternach in Luxemburg. According to Echternach City Officials, the Rue de Wasserbillig has been opened on 28 July at 18:00 for all traffic.

If possible, please show this a normal route available for planning.

I cannot see that Rue de Wasserbillig is closed. I even do not find Rue de .. but Route de ..
Can you please give more details. Best you share the relevant route or route part by 3-dot menu > Share > Share Link > Copy, then paste here.

Correct! It is calked Route de Wasserbillig.

If I try to move Routing Point 14 onto that Road, it does not accept it. The road is shown in interrupted white lines. See red line on the picture.

The road is “closed due to constructions” in OSM - the map data we are using. If you have local knowledge or, as you said, got the information directly from the city, it would be possible to change that in OSM again.

I changed it in OSM. But road is tagged as oneway not matching your route direction, as far as I can see (your screenshot),
Edit: My fault, in history I could see, that oneway tag was added due to construction roadworks, so I also removed oneway tag in OSM.

Great news. In the mean time I have foud a good solution. We rerouted to avoid having to go through the city center. We now use the road along the lake on the southwest side of Echternach.
