Hello everyone,

you’re doing a great job, and I’ve been using the Kurviger app for a very long time. However, one thing that bothers me is the inaccurate altitude display. I’m glad to have an altitude display at all, but it would be really nice if the altitude wasn’t off by about 50 meters.

If implementing a more accurate solution is too complicated, a simple slider or input field to manually apply a correction offset would already be enough for me.

Altitude correction currently only works with Android 14+ and with using the Android location service (if I remember correctly). We need to check the current state of Android/Google services and see if this has been already resolved here.
