Google Play is responsible to retrieve + provide the subscriptions in the apps.

_Apps ask Google Play app_ for the available subscriptions (_it requires internet_).
Google Play asks Google server → caches → returns available subscriptions.

Where did you install the app from?
Is it original Android or custom rom?

Is internet available in this process?

The image does not display the ads either → Google services do not work properly.
Is there any blocker / antivirus app installed limiting Android / Google services?

> We had an interesting report recently on Android, claiming that nothing works, internet, routing, etc. They used some ad / virus / tracking blocker app, limiting Android / Google services → other apps. Like browsers, using any blocker / antivirus app, problems may appear on Android → other apps. Be careful, you use them at your own risk. innocent
