I wanted the App to work so much... but it's not to be.

New user.

I was really looking forward to the App.
Planned a simple trip, but upgraded to tourer+ as I wanted navigation and the windy routes and my idea was to find new ways through the Peak District.

  1. No navigation. Kept going silent after a few minutes.
  2. Low signal. App constantly thought I was 50+miles away from where I was or better yet that I hadn’t started the journey yet
  3. End ride. Wouldn’t save.
  4. Volumn was so quiet. Either I had music blasting a then a whisper telling me left or right. Or no music and everything as loud as possible… and then I could only just year the voice.

It’s honestly a shame. Amazing concept of an App… but it just failed 90% of the time.

Hi Paul,
really sorry that the App does not work as expected at your end.

Some hints to try:

  • Have you given all permissions to Kurviger App?
  • Have you activated mobile data for recalculation?
  • do you have a proper Satellite signal?

So maybe give it another try, I use the App more than two years and never experienced the errors you mentioned.

It honestly was truly strange. It just seemed to forget to tell me where to go, or where we were.

I am going to try a few more times over the next few days, hopefully it was just a freak error

so many users are using the app and there is no fundamental problem.

Can you please provide more information?

Which smartphone with which operating system version?
Which headset?
Any other special features?

This very much sounds like an issue with battery optimisation. If you haven’t done so, please double check:

It reminds me of one of my tours when I forgot to turn off the simulation mode.

Es erinnert mich an eine meiner Touren,als ich vergessen hatte den Simulationsmodus wieder heraus zu nehmen.

Mit der neusten Version 3.3.4 ist der Simulations-Modus nun anders zu erreichen und man kann den eigentlich nicht mehr so einfach vergessen.
