I’m currently 2000 km in on my 3300 km trip and had a lot of thinking time on my bike😝
I thought it would be nice for solo riders to give a signal in the app they would like to ride with someone else for a while and other riders who have this function on can either accept or decline. A bit like a party invite.
The planned route for the next day could be uploaded so others can see if they want to join in on the fun.
I don’t know how realistic this is to actually program but it would be a lot of fun.

I totally understand your intention/idea. I’m riding alone most of the time and have nobody anymore who is willing to join a long journey to e.g. Italy and spend some days there.
But I guess your idea is interesting in the theory but will not be very successful in practice …

Actually that is something we had in mind as well. I think it won’t be easy to make this a nice feature, but I agree, it sounds interesting

I can understand that if you’re lonely, but I wouldn’t use it and open mesh is something I’ll never use.
If Kurviger is really bored, ok, but there are so many other good wishes that are more important.

Not my cup of tea.
It would be a barrier to meet up with a stranger but that’s why, if it’s an active member of the community, it takes away some of those boundaries in my opinion.
It won’t be for everybody but I would surely use it!
More like people who have the function turned on so in this case there won’t be too much people at once who fit in this category and are in your area.
