Language on first launch doesn’t follow system language (iOS?)

Hi,

I noticed that on a fresh install the app initially defaults to Dutch.

My device language is English, so I wondered if the app might normally follow the system language on iOS.

Of course the language can be changed manually in the settings, but it might be nice if the app automatically used the device language on first launch if that’s possible.

For reference, this was on iOS 26.3.1 App 3.6.1

Thanks!

Hello @r33za
yes, it is supposed to start in the systems language. It’s odd that it didn’t for you. And hard so say why from a distance. But you could switch to your preferred language now without problems?

Hi,

Yes, I can change the language manually and it works fine after that.

I only mentioned it because the same thing happened to a friend when he installed the app last weekend. That’s why I deleted the app and did a fresh install on my phone to check, and it again started in Dutch on first launch.

Not a big issue since it can be changed easily, but I thought it might be helpful to mention in case it helps track down what’s happening.

Thanks for reporting this! We’ll still have a look of course.
