I think kurviger should have ability to display navigation on lock screen. Like google maps, when device is locked and user taps screen, it should display navigation screen

Thanks

Hi Huseyin.

Can you try to lock the phone with the on/off button? On my phone the phone gets locked and scrern is off. When I press the on/off again, then navigation is shown (phone still locked).

I usually do not use it, because I have no idea what I should do with a locked phone. Ok, screen is off. What is your usecase for this?

On my (rather old) Samsung S10e it apparently works exactly as Google maps - I double-tap the screen to see the navigation when the screen is locked. The precondition is that the navigation app is running in the foreground when I lock the screen. If the App loses focus and something else comes in the foregtound, like pressing the Home button or making the screenshot (while screen is locked), neither Kurviger nor Gmaps will show again until I unlock the phone and get the app in the foreground.

I guess exactly that is tha advantage - it saves battery. Some ppl rely on audio only for turn instructions, but still there may be moments when they want to glance at the ETA, remaining distance or similar.
