Immer langsam reiten 😉

Fairerweise sollte man in Betracht ziehen, daß die Schnittstellen zu anderen Systemen (“3rd party SW”) natürlich nicht Prio 1 für die Kurviger Entwickler (= @boldtrn und @devemux86 , nur 2 Personen) sind. Daher bin ich dankbar, daß überhaupt so viele der Wünsche umgesetzt wurden! 👍  
Es wurde ja intensiv diskutiert, wie die Info über ShapingPoints im GPX abgelegt werden soll:

Ich vermute, daß genau diese Info auch beim Import wieder verwendet wird.

Wie oben schon erklärt, haben die Garmin Geräte eigene Extensions zur Kennzeichnung von Via- und ShapingPoints - ein “Raten” aufgrund der Symbole ist daher nicht sinnvoll, falls die Extensions vorhanden sind.  
Der Wunsch, diese Info beim Import zu nutzen, wurde im Mai 2020 von @zaphod_42 geäussert - die Resonanz war leider überschaubar:
