# Offline maps + routing issues

As explained [above](https://forum.kurviger.com/t/offline-maps-routing-issues/3161/2), offline maps are not related to offline routing.

Offline routing requires to install GraphHopper or BRouter data.  
(instructions exist in [offline routing guide](https://docs.kurviger.de/app/offline_routing))
