Search POI's along a route during planning

When planning a route it would be nice to be able to search for specific pois (restaurants, fuel stations, touristic attractions etc..) along that route. Showing the results on the map or as a list, allowing you to add the poi to the route.
I know you can show the poi’s on the map and click on them to add, but it would be nice/easier to just have an overview and select from there.
Also, is it possible to add a POI category to the overlay? For example restaurants? Or, can I do this myself?

Can you explain that a little more detailled please? I do not yet understand what you mean. Also have a look at “Map-Overlays” so see what possibilities you have with this feature.

Regarding my 2nd question, you have the option to turn on specific POI categories to show up on the map:

If I want to see “Restaurants”, that category is missing… is this something I could add myself in this screen?

No, the problem with some categories like restaurants is that that there is an enourmous amount, especially if you look at city centers or larger cities (not where we typically ride, but it clogs the map).

That said, you can export restaurants of some area into the overlays, using overpass turbo or some other source. There are some limits though. If you like to try this, most AIs should be able to create the query into GPX for you, based on your requirements and you can import this file into Kurviger Overlays.
