Skipping waypoints deletes the waypoint, the waypoint is lost
This is very annoying. For example, I arrive at the hotel too early and want to go to the next waypoint, so I use the skip waypoint function. Then the next waypoint is deleted, and I can never find it again. Skipping should not delete.
Hello, I’m not quite sure what you mean, but nothing is being ‘deleted’. Just reload the route.

The waypoint is only skipped for your current navigation (try zooming out during navigation to see your skipped points visualized).
Once you exit the navigation, all changes made during active navigation are synced to the planning view, too. You can still see your original route as a dashed line (=a map overlay). But no worries, nothing is deleted or permanently changed, since your originally planned route is still stored in the cloud. As @Hobbyfahrer already mentioned, you can simply go to your cloud routes and load the original route again.
