Hello,

I would like to request that the active route color be separated from the “Recorded rides” folder. Currently, the active route - whether you are navigating or planning - shares the same color as the “Recorded rides” folder.

Changing the folder color also changes the active route color, which makes it difficult to quickly distinguish the route you need to follow when “Recorded rides” is displayed as an overlay.

For example, can you really see on these screenshots where you are supposed to go at glance? Can you see where the active route is heading without looking very closely?

I suggest you separate the active route from the “Recorded rides” and give us a separate color picker in the settings for this, or at least just pick a single color that will not follow the “Recorded rides” configuration.

Thank you!

thanks for your proposal - however you may change the color of the recorded rides in the overlay section. If you do so, the active route remains in blue and the recorded rides are in a different color (in my choice red):

So from color perspective there is a clear distinction - or did I miss your point?

Hm, my bad. Then can you make it so the active route is on top of other overlays? I switched the “Recorded rides” to green and this is how it looks like when navigating via some point with many previously ridden roads and you can perhaps see my confusion as to why I thought the active route shares the color:

There were even requests here to place the active route below the road layer so that you can see the road layout better. Where are the overlays supposed to go then?

In my opinion, it’s pointless to display recorded trips as an overlay in your home area, where you’ve pretty much driven down every street already. What are you trying to achieve with that?
