More of a curiosity than a problem. While navigating I noticed a strange indication. Why doesn’t the navigator just let me go straight? Furthermore, it suggests a stretch of road going the wrong way… Thanks!
You’re right, actually. It’s curious
Kurviger can route the direct way:
The direct line is limited to 50km/h:
The other ways are not limited. So I assume Kurviger thinks using the other ways ist faster…
@paolo_V85 apperently a turn constraint is missing in OSM. Have you visited this location and can confirm that this sign exists (it is not allowed to update OSM based on competing sources - local knowledge from people who visited the site is required)
I really think this is the answer!
Yes, I know the place and can confirm that the signal exists
Ok, I made the change in OSM. @rumbrummer can you review the change in OSM, this is my first time that I did “No Turn” modification.
An italian OSM user changed this into one way 3 hours ago.
This change is newer than yours, so I can`t see anymore whether your change was correct.
From my point of view the restriction is done correctly
But from my point of view tagging the destination road as oneway is correct, so the restriction is redundant / obsolete (router would route oneway in wrong direction if turning right).
