Ein paar Gedanken zum Thema Roadbook:
- Wie gesagt habe ich’s noch nicht vermisst. Und ich glaube auch nicht, dass heutzutage noch jemand anhand eines Roadbooks navigiert - Ausnahme: Sport-Events mit Querfeldein-Touren.
- Also bleibt das Einplanen von Pausen als Vorteil übrig. Dazu brauche ich aber kein fancy Excel-Sheet, bislang habe ich das mit Papier und Bleistift erledigen können. Die Zeiten pro Wegpunkt werden ja ausgewiesen und es sind nur die bis dorthin angefallenen Pausenzeiten zu addieren.
- Aber: wie wäre es, wenn wir die Startzeit beim Startpunkt und die Pausen in den Zwischenzielen (und nur dort!) eingeben könnten? Die Addition könnte damit automatisch erfolgen. Nur so’ne Idee - und muss ja nicht morgen sein. (Ich weiß, die To-Do-Liste ist schon lang genug …)
Noch’n Tipp: Ich trage die (momentan noch manuell errechneten) Zeiten in den Zwischenziel-Namen ein (z. B. “12:30 Lunch in Mittenwald”). Dann werden diese während der Navigation “vorgelesen” und man hat eine permanente Zeitkontrolle.
A few thoughts about roadbooks:
- As I said, I didn’t miss it yet. And I don’t think anyone navigates from a roadbook these days either - except for sporting events with cross-country tours.
- So planning breaks remains as an advantage. But I don’t need a fancy Excel sheet for that, so far I’ve been able to do that with paper and pencil. The times per waypoint are shown and only the break times accumulated up to that point have to be added.
- But: how about if we could enter the start time at the start point and the breaks at the via points (and only there!)? The addition could then be done automatically. Just an idea - and it doesn’t have to be tomorrow. (I know, the to-do list is already long enough …)
