2 Question for Rental Bike & Navigation

Hello. Bro~

i have two Question.

1. Question about using navigation during the tour.

I have never used this app before. I have always relied on Google Maps, but I assume many of you have tried both Kurviger and Google Maps. I’m curious whether there are significant differences between Google Maps and the Kurviger app when actually touring. If the differences are not that big, I plan to just use Google Maps. I would appreciate it if you could share your experiences

2.Bike Tental Shop

i already understand there are official BMW dealerships in Munich, but if there are rental shops offering lower prices, I’d be grateful for some recommendations. i want to Full coveraged insurance & Nice Service when we got sudden badly situation.

Thanks all.

Hello Andy,

There are significant differences between Kurviger and Google Maps. Maps is useful if you want to get to a specific destination as quickly as possible. It guides you around traffic jams and closed roads. Maps is also very good for navigating in cities because it knows the traffic situation.
Kurviger is much better when it comes to planning a scenic route away from motorways and main roads.
That’s it in a nutshell.

You can find lots of information about it on the internet, for example on YouTube. Here is an introduction:

When it comes to renting a motorbike, the people of Munich may have some useful experiences and ideas. I asked Gemini and received this reply:

But you can also do that from South Korea.

Google Maps is roughly equivalent to Kurviger’s “Fastest” route mode, though Google Maps displays and uses real-time traffic information to calculate the fastest route given the current traffic conditions. Google Maps and Kurviger Fastest routes tend to be straight, flat, and boring. Kurviger is unique in providing curvy modes: Fast & Curvy, Curvy, Extra Curvy, and All Curvy. Fast & Curvy gets you to your destination in a reasonable time and with some curvy roads. Curvy gets you mostly curvy roads. Extra Curvy maximizes curvy roads. All Curvy displays all the modes simultaneously so you can make choices as you come to decision points along the ride. I often run both Kurviger and Google Maps simultaneously, following Kurviger until it gets late or I get tired; then I follow Google Maps the rest of the way to my next hotel. I provided a recommendation for bike rental under your planning query.
