ich nutze seit Jahren Kurviger (zZ Tourer Abo) zur Routenplanung am PC und übertrage die Routen dann auf TomTom Mydrive um sie auf meinem Rider 550 nutzen zu können.
Bei der Übertragung zu TomTom besteht dann immer reichlich Korrekturbedarf nachdem TomTom der Route neu berrechnet hat.
Über die Unzulänglichkeiten des TomTom Navis selbst, muss man wohl nichts mehr sagen.
Ich würde lieber heute als morgen auf Kurviger Tourer + mit Anbindung an einen Carpuride Monitor mit Android Auto umsteigen.

I also would like to second this. With the comming of aftermarket devices with Android Auto this platform now reaches a broader range of bikers. I am interested in buying a Midland Bikeplay Guardian with AA to replace my Garmin on my GS; but the goal of course would be to ride with Kurviger for routes (on the AA screen).

Do I have to understand that you buy a Carpuride and live with the limitations of AA (if it was then implemented in Kurviger) instead of an outdoor smartphone (e.g. OUKITEL with A13, 10000mAh, etc.) at half the price? Not to mention cheap second-hand goods.
Corresponding adapters for the BMW mount have also been around for a long time: BMW Navigator ablösen?! / Replace BMW Navigator?!
Yes I know, but for me the smartphone on the bike is a limitation due to a screen that is not as bright/visible (even in brightest setting) and cannot control with gloves on; those for me could be important enough even to buy a new Garmin now (my Garmin Zume 390 is now +10 years old, still working but already “feeling” what is out there to replace in time).
