I have a samsung s23 and I’m a happy kurviger touring user. All works fine on the phone. However, i now bought a aocci 6 pro display but whenever i put the kurviger app on the screen brightness reduced by at least 50 %. Despite turning the phone to day mode and max brightness on the aocci the screen remains very dark. When I turn on any other app, as it is apple car play, No other app reduces in brightness. It is a kurviger proprietary issue.
I hope you can resolve this as as it is now, it is not usable.
Thanks for the info. I am not aware of any setting that we can do to change screen brightness in Android Auto. Is this a feature of the Aocci 6? If there is an “auto” setting, maybe you could disable that?
Aoocci has a brightness button but to no avail. Also the setting in android to always day doesn’t help. The biggest frustration is that all other apps, maps, route you,… don’t have this issue. They all come in clear. So it must be a kurviger propriatery issue. They really need to look in to it as it is not usable as it is that’s a real pitty.
Because you asked, I went to take photo’s this morning. I took a picture of the Googlemaps nice and bright and then switched to the Kurviger app which is also bright now! I have however updated to the One Ui 8.5 on my Samsung S23 so I guess the new 8.5 fixed the issue. I’m not finding a way to post photo’s in this e-mail but can share them if someone explains how to include them in to this mail/Post. I any case I’m really happy with the issue fixed! Yes I already had the 3.6.4 version on my phone. So that wasn’t the answer. So I’m not going to mess around any more. It works and with a bright screen it is fully functional even in brighter daylight.
