We are happy to announce that we released version 3.0.7 of the Kurviger Beta App.
This update comes with several changes and improvements:
- Follow (App): Without a planned route, you can use the follow mode to ride freely and just view the map while riding.
- Navigation (App): Reduced battery usage during the navigation.
- Navigation (App): Voice output of street names can be configured to yes, no, and automatic. Automatic reduces the occurrence the street name is spoken, so it is only spoken once.
- Navigation (App): 2km voice instruction is only spoken for very long stretches of road (like a motorway).
- Navigation (App): Shaping-Points are not spoken anymore, they are still shown.
- Navigation (App): (…)-menu shows state of voice output muted / unmuted.
- Planning: Address is not removed anymore when waypoints are snapped to the closest road.
In order to keep this thread clean, I would like to ask you to provide feedback in the discussion thread for the release. For specific issues or feature requests, I would like to ask you to create a separate thread. You can find more about the current BETA state in our documentation. It might take a few hours until the new update shows up in Google Play.

Wir freuen uns, euch mitteilen zu können, dass wir Version 3.0.7 der Kurviger Beta App veröffentlicht haben.
Dieses Update bringt einige Änderungen und Verbesserungen mit sich:
- Follow (App): Ohne eine geplante Route kannst du den Follow-Modus nutzen, um frei zu fahren und während der Fahr die Karte zu sehen.
- Navigation (App): Reduzierter Akkuverbrauch während der Navigation.
- Navigation (App): Die Sprachausgabe von Straßennamen kann auf ja, nein und automatisch eingestellt werden. Automatisch reduziert die Häufigkeit, mit der der Straßenname gesprochen wird, so dass der Straßenname nur einmal gesprochen wird.
- Navigation (App): Die 2km-Sprachanweisung wird nur bei sehr langen Straßenabschnitten (z.B. Autobahn) gesprochen.
- Navigation (App): Shaping-Points werden nicht mehr gesprochen, sondern nur noch angezeigt.
- Navigation (App): (…)-Menü zeigt den Status der Sprachausgabe stumm / laut.
- Planung: Die Adresse wird nicht mehr entfernt, wenn Wegpunkte auf die nächstgelegene Straße gesetzt werden.
Um diesen Thread aufgeräumt zu halten, würden wir euch bitten,Feedback im Diskussions-Thread für diese Version zu geben. Bei Anfragen oder Problemen zu einem speziellen Feature würde ich euch bitten einen extra Beitrag anzulegen. Informationen zum aktuellen Beta-Status findet ihr in unserer Dokumentation. Es kann ein paar Stunden dauern bis das Update in Google Play angezeigt wird.
