As I don’t know anything about programming I’ve no clue if going to CarPlay is a kind of “2 fingers in the nose” stuff or something much more complex.

Thanks for the update, apple carplay would be great. As a suggestion; in order to get a version out there asap, you could limit the funtionality to loading a route and starting the navigation. This would also be a good safety consideration. Looking foreward to the result! Cheers Anton

+1 for Apple CarPlay. I am currently planning with kurviger.de and navigate with the scenic app in my car using Apple CarPlay. This solution needs a manual rework of the kurviger routes in scenic because of the different map data used by kurviger.de and scenic.

Navigating with CarPlay is a real game changer for me.

Hi team, just installed and didnt know it doesnt support Car play or Andorid Auto … can do both. That is pretty essential nowadays I believe. The app is v good btw and would be a shame missed momentum, After reading all the comments there is a hope👍

+++ for Apple CarPlay. We are a club of people driving MX-5 / Miata that are looking for a solution that can replace Garmin device and Basecamp. I would be promoting this in our club forum if it happened.

I would love to have this feature to! It will add so many possibilities for practical use… And yes I know that android is bigger and apple smaller. If you have time it would be much appreciated

Dear Kurviger Team,

I know CarPlay is planned but could you share any timing idea?
I would like buying the Chigee AIO 5 that is CarPlay compatible and use, of course … KURVIGER.

We try not to share information like this, as there are many reasons that can affect timelines and if we tell you it will be released around A, but we end up releasing A + 6 months, then people will be sad. It is hard to tell for big features.

We believe that we will be able to release car play before the start of the next season, but that is all I can share.

I understand your reply but “the start of the season” is not the same in North Germany and South Italy!
I hope you can have this Carplay functionality done by Q1-25.
Indeed, many people are waiting for it because your app is the best but unfortunately, cannot be used on third party screens.

CarPlay is very high in our todo list, it’s a huge feature, so we can’t make any promises, sorry. We will provide this as soon as possible.

Hi, with more bikes prepared for car play, this is obviously a highly desirable feature. You can get an edge over calimoto, if you implement the possibility to show charts in north orientation as well, calimoto can‘t do that.

We will let you know once there are news. I can tell you that this is on the top of our list for iOS. That’s all, it’s a big feature.

Calimoto is slow and has some connection bugs (especially when you restart your trip after a short break). This is boring.
I use it by default but I really hope to have Kurviger with Carplay very soon to be able to stop Calimoto

In addition to my other posts, I would be ok to be a beta tester for Carplay (with Carpuride)
I would as well post the test on my YT channel (NoxGarage)
