3.5.5 and CarPlay is on your Carpuride ???
I have 3.5.6 and nothing is visible on my Carpuride (W702). Have I done something wrong, I have Abo Tourer +, uninstalled the APP, iPhone off and on again, and still nothing with CarPlay.
Dear leads I am going (with group) to Sardinia in May 2025 and have fully committed to CarPlay with Kurviger. I urgently need some information. What will happen to CarPlay and Kurviger . I can’t afford the luxury of changing everything to TOMTOM or similar 5 days before and then checking for missing. I think some of you have similar thoughts.
Also summarized, what’s the point of such a video when is CarPlay coming?
By the way, if it doesn’t work in spring, ok but then please make announcements, then nobody will be angry.

Ich habe3.5.6 und nix ist auf meinem Carpuride zu sehen ( W702) . Habe ich etwas falsch gemacht, ich habe Abo Tourer + , die APP deinstalliert, iPhone aus und wieder an, und immer noch Nix mit CarPlay .
Liebe leite ich fahre ( mit Gruppe) im Mai 2025 auf Sardinien und habe mich voll auf CarPlay mit Kurviger eingelassen. Ich benötige dringend eine Info . Was wird aus CarPlay und kurviger . Ich kann mir den Luxus nicht leisten 5 Tage vorher alles auf TOMTOM oder ähnliches umzustellen und dann noch auf fehlt zu kontrollieren. Ich denke einige von euch haben ähnliche Gedanken.
Also zusammengefasst, was soll so ein Video wann kommt CarPlay ?
Übrigens wenn es im Frühjahr nicht klappt, ok aber dann auch bitte Ansagen , dann ist niemand böse.

No, it was a lapse in the release process, as @boldtrn explained above.
3.5.5 was not intended to provide Carplay to the wider public. Carplay takes another few weeks to release as BETA, as comminicated above.
@M-Dr since Carplay feature will potentially still be in its BETA phase in May (estimated based on the duration of the Android Auto BETA phase) it will not be a full-featured product and some things may still cause a minor annoyance. Out of my personal experience, I would try to have a fallback solution, some of the options:
- Phone holder, so you can navigate with the App on your phone directly
- Ready Android phone (maybe someone from your group has it), that you can use with Android Auto on Carpuride
- Another navigation device, that you used in the past

- Ich hatte schon geschrieben, ich werde bald losfahren, was soll ich mit der Antwort anfangen (…es dauert noch …). Die Arbeit 10 Tage Urlaub zu planen ist keine “5 Minuten Nummer”
- Ich hatte geschrieben, dass eine Erklärung “es wird nicht bis Mai fertig sein…” völlig in Ordnung ist
- ich habe nun schon für 2025 Tourer + angemeldet und werde anfangen meine Ganze Arbeit bei TOMTOM noch mal machen, so gesehen besten Dank.
Die Kommunikation ist echt unrund.

- i had already written that i will be leaving soon, what should i do with the answer (…it still takes …). Planning the work for 10 days Holidayd is not a “5 minute number”
- i had written that a statement “it won’t be ready by may…” is perfectly fine
- I have now already registered for 2025 Tourer + and will start doing all my work at TOMTOM again, so thank you very much.

Wenn du eine “private” Frage hast, dann gibt es die Möglichkeit das Kurviger-Team hier im Forum mit einer Privatnachricht anzuschreiben.

I agree with this @M-Dr. We are very confident, that we will release a CarPlay BETA before May. We try to provide a well working solution, but especially the first version might still contain some issues that we will improve as fast as possible and I would expect that by May you should have a pretty stable version, but definitely still a BETA version, as we like to keep things BETA until everything is working really really well.

Het duurt wel heel lang , heb ook een Garmin zumo xt maar rijd nooit precies hetzelfde als Kurviger
Scenic kan ik zien op men display CarPlay en is gratis

I´ve the pleasure to lead a 5 day tour in second half of may
Planning of the daily trips is done in kurviger and I would love to go for the abo.
Unfortunately, I don´t know if at that time carplay will be supported.
What is the ikelyhood that kurviger will support by mid May Carplay?
Attaching the iphone to the handlebars is not an option for me and I might have to look at other options for 2025.

Since you are planning to get an abo, I understand that you currently do not use Kurviger for navigation.
Planing a group ride with the Navigation-App that you are not familiar with might be a stressful prospect. Get used to it in advance, maybe in a car.
Have in mind that Carplay itself imposes considerable functionality restrictions (amount of information that can be displayed and commands that are available), so make sure that you are aware of those. Have a look on what is currently available with Android Auto - I expect similar but not identical scope.
Lastly, we all hope Kurviger Carplay BETA will go public soon and if it does, it will most likely be still in BETA phase in May. This means that not all features will be available and there might be still some small bugs in the software.
Nevertheless, I personally would give it a try, but also have a “plan B” solution. Maybe someone from your group has an Android phone, that you can stick to the handlebar if needed or your old navigation device can import the GPX files from Kurviger (try it out in advance).

am 01.03.2025 erwarb ich über den App-Store eure App (Tourer+) und möchte euch an dieser ein großes Lob für dieses tolle Tool aussprechen.
Am 12.03.2025 machte ich eine Motorradtour, um die App auszuprobieren und verband hierzu mein Handy via Apple-Carplay mit meinem Motorrrad (Honda Africa Twin). Die App stellte problemlos eine Verbindung her und sie lief die gesamte Tour stabil.
Am 28.03.2025 wollte ich wieder eine Tour fahren und musste feststellen, dass die App im Carplay-Interface nicht angezeigt wurde.
Gibt es dafür einen Grund?
Ich hab im Forum zwar gelesen, dass Carplay bis dato nicht unterstützt wird. An dem besagten Tag war es jedoch der Fall.

Hello there you have lot of other temporary options, most of them are very cheap or free (10€/year). For example mapy.com, Tom Tom Go, Tom Tom Amigo, Google maps, Sygic…
Bei der Version 3.5.5 hat sich leider eine internet Testversion von CarPlay in die App geschmuggelt. Wir planen bald die CarPlay BETA freizuschalten, dann ist die App wieder in CarPlay verfügbar.
