That is a shame! And strange, because most navigation apps can do that, e.g. MRA etc.

In my world the word shame is rarely used. Please stay friendly. It is not nice to read and not motivating at all.

I just checked. In Playstore MRA was published in 2015 and Kurviger 2023. I think Carplay was introduced by MRA in 2023, when the new Kurviger-app did not even exist. So for two years, not bad at all, I would say.

Dear Kurviger team. I booked the annual subscription with Calimoto last month, although I find Kurviger much better. Since I use IOS and CarPlay, Kurviger unfortunately doesn’t work. Da ich halt meine Navigation während dem fahren über Carpuride laufen lasse, wäre es Sinnvoll bis wann ihr nun auch Kurviger für CarPlay zum laufen bringt. Ich würde mein Calimoto ABO dann sofort auslaufen lassen und Dauerhaft zu Kurviger wechseln. nur wann seit ihr soweit???

I’m not sure if this is the right place to ask, but I’m currently facing the following issue: Yes, I would love to have Apple CarPlay as well. However, I understand that there is no official statement on this at the moment.

My problem: I have two big trips coming up, and I have already fully planned the routes using Kurviger. Since I no longer believe that CarPlay support for Kurviger will be available by mid-April, I’m wondering how best to bridge the gap. Which app do you recommend for importing Kurviger routes? Large sections of the routes are off-road.

Calimoto (which requires payment for navigation) cannot load the routes because the roads (off-road) are not recognized.
I can’t test Scenic without subscribing, unfortunately. Does anyone have experience with it, or can anyone recommend another CarPlay-compatible app?

Use a used Android phone as a transition because all displays that can do Apple CarPlay can also do Android Auto.

Hello Matt. You can try app mapy.cz but you have to use one more step. Converter web page gpxmapy.cz to upload Kurviger gpx into and open or export route waypoints to mapy.cz app after (or it’s web account).

Use Scenic, works fine and for a gap use, definitly cheaper than a scrappy android

Meanwhile you can also import Kurviger routes into TomTom Go and use Carplay. Inconvenient but possible. Kurviger is most of all a route planning tool that now also can do navigation (on ios) and soon will have it via carplay as well .

Yes, CarPlay is not yet ready, it seems like some internal test slipped into this release, sorry for the confusion!
