Automatic rerouting

New user in Kurviger. I have a question regarding auto rerouting. In settings I have this turned on, during navigation today Kurviger did not recalculate the route.

This route was a simple on only a start and endpoint given.

Any idea how to fix this?

The automatic recalculation is triggered when you leave the planned route. For recalculation an internet connection and GPS is required. I think there is nothing more.

What happened instead?

Thanks for your reply. Nothing really happened, I had GPS and 4G/5G connections. Motorcycle navigation for me should be without driver interaction while driving.

Something must have happened on your screen, otherwise you would not have recognized a missing recalculation. I assume you left the blue, planned route?

In this case Kurviger cannot give any hints for direction anymore until you are back on the planned route or a recalculation was executed. Also, the left upper direction arrow shows the direction to the next waypoint. A button should appear to manually force recalculation.

If nothing happened, how did you notify missing recalculation?

Perhaps go to settings, switch Automatic Recalculation on / off / on multiple times. Sometimes a switch is some kind of stuck. Then you may make another ride to verify.

If above does not work, delete the local data; this would clear most cached stuff on your device. Save unsaved routes in the cloud before.

Hi, indeed I moved away from the route (blue line) due to roadblock. The arrow appeared on screen together with a button to recalculate, but it did not start an automatic recalculation. Automatic = without driver intervention. Recalculation should bring me back to the route, skip any shaping point I might have missed and continue the route.

When the button to recalulate appears, means recalculation was off or you had no or really bad internet.

Best try my proposals above.

Absolutely agree, and this is how it works in Kurviger too.
If recalculation is actually activated and it still seems not to work automatically, please do as suggested by @Toffel:

Or delete your local data: Settings → scroll down → delete local data

I also had a road closure but it didn’t re-route either.

What do you mean by that @Michael1? Please specify a little, so we can help better.

In case you mean the feature you can use during navigation to avoid a road block: Here it is described in detail. If you have automatic recalculation deactivated, you will have to confirm recalculation afterwards with the respective button.
