As I know many tunnels use BT beacons to transmit data to navigational devices and/or apps (waze, gmaps) to allow navigation without GPS. I don’t really know, if these BT networks are open to use for everyone or not.
But if yes, are there some plans to implement this useful feature in Kurviger?

Soweit ich weiß, nutzen viele Tunnel BT-Beacons, um Daten an Navigationsgeräte und/oder Apps (Waze, GMaps) zu übertragen und so eine Navigation ohne GPS zu ermöglichen. Ich weiß nicht wirklich, ob diese BT-Netzwerke für jedermann zugänglich sind oder nicht.
Wenn ja, gibt es Pläne, diese nützliche Funktion in Kurviger zu implementieren?

In der Regel werden nachfolgende Techniken genutzt:
Bewegungssensoren des Smartphones (Beschleunigung, Gyroskop, Kompass)
Letzte bekannte Geschwindigkeit vor GPS-Ausfall
Kartenabgleich (Map Matching)
Dadurch bleibt die Navigation im Tunnel rudimentär möglich.
Kurviger will nach meinem Kenntnisstand das Verhalten in Tunneln noch verbessern.
We use the GPS of the smartphone, so if there is any position data, we use that.
That said, we are looking into improving the tunnel behaviour.

Waze has already installed these beacons in several major cities around the world, such as New York City, Chicago, Boston, Paris, Rio de Janeiro and Brussels.
At least as it is right now, it does not seem like it had huge adoption yet, maybe something we can do in the future.
