Closed roads in Czechia

Hey guys,

I’m using kurviger mostly in Czechia and I happen to come to closed roads pretty frequently. Either its closed permanently (ie. forest entrance), or there is a work on road. Other maps do not have this problem. Last weekend I used the avoid obstacle feature, it led me to another closure. There I clicked the avoid obstacle again, and it wanted me to go through the first closure again.

This is getting ridiculous. Are there any plans to include current status of czech roads (from JSDI)?

The biggest problem in the Czech Republic is that the OSM data isn’t maintained properly, so you often run into road closures that aren’t shown on the OSM map.

When I’m planning a trip through the Czech Republic, I upload my route to mapy.cz. First of all, you can see almost everything in Street View, and mapy uses maps that are simply better maintained.

Maybe this workaround will help you.
