There is a team in the very early stages of creating an app that accepts your route and merges into that route the hourly weather forecast based so that one can tell where on your route there will be adverse weather taking into account where you will be and when.
The concept is to then hit a button and have route change at take curvy roads to avoid the weather yet still reach the destination.
SInce this concept is in the infancy stage I thought I would make this post in Kurviger’s forum so that Kurviger’s team can work with their team as to create on-the-fly alternate routes to reach destination, yet avoiding weather, in the process of getting there.. Since the idea is currently vaporware there would be nothing “wrong” with kurviger liking this idea so much they just do this project themselves.
