This is a quirk of mine. It all started with my fear of heights. At around 850 meters above sea level, I start to feel uneasy, but at around 950 meters, the fear disappears. That’s why I appreciate the altitude information on the GPS device so much. The app displays the altitude; it would be great if it could also be shown in Android Auto. Tip: Garmin devices have allowed you to assign different functions to the function icons for quite some time now. I would, for example, assign the altitude information to the traffic sign symbol in Android Auto.
You can’t really compare a Garmin device to the Kurviger app, but you can select fields in the app just like you can with Garmin. However, since Garmin doesn’t support Android Auto, the two aren’t really comparable.
The information that can be displayed in AA/CP is somewhat limited by Google and Apple.
