Extra curvy outside city, straight route inside city -- Wow

Just a sample to demonstrate how good Kurviger routing is meanwhile. :smile_cat::grinning::motorcycle:
extra curvy route into munic center

Outside the city it takes the extra curvy route, but inside the city it uses the fastest way.
I am impressed.

While I do agree that this is really impressive, wouldn’t it - looking at it very strictly - be fastest to take the A9?

Im Link ist die Option “extra Kurvige Route” ausgewählt.
Wenn man die Option “schnellste Route” nimmt, wird man auch über die A9 geleitet.
Alles richtig und bestens.

Schon klar Oliver, das war nur eine Reaktion auf Manfreds Worte “fastest way” (daher hab ich ihn da auch zitiert), eine kleinkarierte Anmerkung, dass es noch besser ginge theoretisch

Not complaining, not a bug report, just a quick example of a case where the algo is not that smart yet:

Even starting in “curvy” mode it already tracks further through the city than necessary

But yes, of course, to reiterate, it’s gotten much better
