I’d be happy to help you explore Thailand. Since your original post is pretty open-ended, here are some suggestions based on what I’ve found works well depending on your travel style.
If you’re interested in beaches, most travelers hit Phuket or Krabi, but I’d actually recommend checking out Koh Lanta or Koh Samui if you want something less crowded. The southern islands have better water clarity November through April, so timing matters.
For cultural experiences, Bangkok’s Grand Palace is the obvious choice, but the smaller temples around Chiang Mai give you a more authentic sense of Buddhist architecture without the tour groups. If you go north, spend at least 3-4 days there rather than just a day trip from Bangkok.
Food-wise, street markets in Bangkok like Chatuchak are famous, but honestly the best meals I’ve had were at smaller local spots in residential neighborhoods. Don’t feel pressured to eat only at tourist-recommended places.
A practical note: the rainy season runs May through October, so if you’re flexible on dates, dry season (November-February) is more reliable, though slightly pricier.
