Carplay is still in the beta phase so keep your eyes peeled for updates.
When the ACP display tells you that the app is running on the phone, you do not actually have to take out the phone - just press the button on the ACP display and it should switch.
Also the total riding time and distance should be available soon.
Speedometer should come soon, it is a planned feature for IOS, just a step behind Android at the moment.
Warning for speed cameras is not available - currently you would have to use an extermal app as blitzer.de, but I jave not tested if and how it works on ACP.
Closed roads are currently only available from OSM, but pressure to implement online trafic data is rising… 
It would be good to have your unbiased view on “Skip” function. Currently there are two different implementations - a very simple SKIP to the next waypoint on ACP and a bit more powerful (and complex) SKIP, when using the navigation on the phone.
Developers are always happy to read constructive feedback on the forum, so keep posting your experiences and needs.
