I’ve shared a planned group tour via WhatsApp with the participants. Now I’ve edited parts of the tour on my PC and changed the route.
When I open the old link in WhatsApp now, the old route published in the link appears, and the new route is shown with a dashed line.
How can I save this route, or is that even possible? It’s just a general question about how it works.
Of course, I can always share the current route as a new link with the participants.

Hello, and that is completely correct. The entire route is permanently saved within the link.
If you make any changes, you need to send a new link/QR code.
If all users have a Kurviger account, you can also share the route via the cloud, and then everyone will always have the latest version, even if you make changes.

How did you do that? There are currently two ways: via a simple Kurviger link or by sharing in the Kurviger Cloud.
I’ve linked the information for both methods for you.
If you open the old link (then presumably a simple Kurviger link), the corresponding (old) route is loaded. What you see as a dashed line is a map overlay. Take a look here.
You can always save a route in the same way. All information on that can be found here 
I recommend that you share the route via the cloud this time.
