How can I force my Mobile to update OSM-Data in Debug-Info?

I observed in the last days, that the OSM-Date in the debug info from my mobile (here Android) deviated for several days against the OSM-date in the WebPlanner. Today deviation was again two days, I deleted local data, then in the app I had the same date as in the WebPlanner.

Questions:

  • Is it just a display issue or do I really work with “old” data?
  • How can I force the update of the maps / and or Debug-Info?

I have seen this also many times.
It is just the display, which is not up to date. The routing is done on server based on newest OSM data (independent on device display).
Deleting local data is the only way I know to force an update of debug info.
