How can I use Spotify and Kurviger simulaniously?

Hi, I like to ride my motorcycle and listen to music at the same time. However, every time I follow a route on Kurviger and listen to music on Spotify one of those apps shuts down. I have changed te settings on my phone, but that doesn’t solve the problem. It is very annoying and I’m considering to cancel my Kurvigeraccount. Please, can anyone help me? And if not, does anyone know which routeplanner does work with Spotify?

Works fine with me (on Android), are you using Android or IOS?

That’s weird because I do the same (Android phone) and never had this problem. What phone do you have? I don’t think this is a problem with Kurviger.

I have a Samsung S22.

It may be related to aggressive power management, where Samsung is killing apps running in the background.

Okay, thank you. I have a Samsung S22 Plus. It is hard to tell from a distance but do you have the same problem with GMaps for example?

What have you already changed in your settings? Make sure both apps are allowed to run in the background by enabling “Allow background activity” in the app settings. Also, battery optimization may force-stop one of the apps in the background- please try and set both Spotify and Kurviger to “Don’t optimize” or “Unrestricted” in battery settings.

Thank you for your advice. I’ve tried al those things already. And I don’t have those problems with GMaps. That’s why I asked this question here, because I can’t think of any other sollution.

Thanks for your suggestions. I’ve already tried all of that, and the issue still persists. I don’t experience this problem with GMaps, which is why I’m asking here—I can’t think of any other solution.

There was a big update for Samsung for OneUi 7. Have you installed that? We haven’t received complaints about Kurviger being killed after that really. Other than that it’s the battery saving and background execution that you should look into, for example here: Samsung | Don’t kill my app!
