I love naming Way Points

No really. The ability to rename Way Points, and voice navigatin speaks them, is one of the best features of Kurviger.

I can give them dirty names, but usually I just add important info to them, eg. “halfway mark”, “”, “exit 12 in 500 metres” … That last one is because Kurviger in english doesn’t tell me what exit number to take. It just says something like; “keep right”

Hello @Notnuts
We’re glad you like the feature so much!

Could you share the route please, so we can take a closer look?

For the record this was not meant as a bug report.
I genuinely figured it’s a bug related to either OSM or Danish maps.

But because you asked so nicely, I created a couple of short routes, where the “Keep Right” instruction can be reproduced consistently by simulating Navigation.

Exit Debug: https://kurv.gr/NCebk
Debug2: https://kurv.gr/8xqrM

For the Exit Debug route it’s Exit 8 Fløng (just outside Roskilde).
I expected to be told to take Exit 8 but was told to keep right.

For Debug2 it’s Exit 45 Nyborg Ø which also tells me to “Keep right”

I tried toggling various settings while debugging, but on my Samsung A35 it’s consistently Keep Right

OSM date stamp: 06/04/2026

Okay, for me it sounded like it was a problem you observed regularly  There are no differences in voice guidance content for different languages.

Thanks for the examples, we’ll have a look. But most likely a map data thing I would guess

No no, I genuinly love that I can set custom messages on Waypoints

Yes, I understood that

Try putting a couple of Emojis in the waypoint name and listen for the effects.
