How to customize map styles in Android Auto?

Hi,

I can change the map styles in the Android app. Here I like to use the high-contrast OTM map style. Unfortunately, this adjustment is not transferred to the Android Auto display. Only the default map style is shown there.

Am I missing an option here or is this really not possible? If the latter, is anything planned for this?

With OTM, for example, fields and forest paths that branch off from the regular road are easy to see, making it easy to spot where you can stop for a short break.

Hi Uwe,

the maps can only be selected for planning on the web and in the app. As soon as you start navigation (in the app and AA), there is only one map that cannot be changed. Since there is no planning mode as such in AA, you cannot select a map there either.

Nothing known at the moment.

True… I just started the navigation in the simulation and then the map style in the app also switches to standard. I don’t use the app directly, so I hadn’t noticed that.

Then that would be a feature request :wink: I’ve already mentioned the reason why. Map details are simply missing during navigation.
