Scenic is not release for android yet. So, I need a need a new motorcycle app.
Kurviger is available for IOS and android.
Question: Do I need to pay for Krurviger + twice to have it functional on both smartphones?

The Kurviger subscription is tied to the account you log in.
So you can use your Kurviger subscription for web, ios and android.
Note: For navigation you need Tourer+ subscription.

Does this mean that if you have 2 phones (an iPhone and an android phone for exampl And one of your phones gets broken or lost you can re-log in using the same account on your other phone?

Yes this is correct and you have access to all data stored in the cloud from all of your devices.
