I would like to swap my Google login for a login with an e-mail address and password. How do I do this?
I assume:
- Kurviger button
- settings
- profile settings
- change E-Mail
Sorry, I thought I didn’t have to mention that the ‘normal’ way doesn’t work. I enter a new e-mail address and also have to enter the current password.
Error message: Firebase: Error (auth/wrong-password).
I use the German website and copy and paste the password.
Somewhere I saw that you could enter an alternative email address and there was a way to remove the Google login. Unfortunately I can’t find it anymore. Maybe it’s that, what I need to do?
You can’t remove the social login, you can add an email login and can change your email. Possibly you have an email login already? If you open your profile you can see your emails and providers listed at the top where the profile picture is shown.
I added an alternate Email now. But I keep the old one from the Google login activ of course. And no, I do not have another Email login.

I did that. I logged in with the alternative email address, then forgot my password, and entered a new one. Now I’m logged in with a new account, without a subscription.
I can only login via Google account. Even entering my Google Email and password separatly is not working
Ich hab mir deinen Account angeschaut. Du hast einmal den Google Login und dann einen Passwort Login. Der Passwort Login nutzt die selbe Email wie dein Google Login. Welches Passwort du hier gesetzt hast, kann ich dir nicht sagen, du kannst dir dieses aber zurücksetzen lassen.
Du kannst die Email aber auch ändern. Das geht im Account-Bereich bei Kurviger:
Zu jeder Email kann es immer nur einen Account geben, falls du für die 2. Email bereits einen Account angelegt hast, dann müsstest du diesen Account erstmal löschen.

So, I think I have a normal mail/password login now. Now I would like to delete the Google login. How do I do that?

It’s not a feature many people ask for. Everything needs to be built, tested, and maintained, so it’s not just a checkbox that we need to set.
With all that said, most apps / websites don’t allow removing a social login, so it’s not really a standard feature.
