Map mistakes I can't fix

My home address is XXXX, Frisco, Texas and it does not allow me to set that address when beginning a route. It IS in a gated community and I find this may be the problem but not with any other trip creating app such as Google. Can this be fixed?

The reason for this is that the community is tagged with access=private: Way: ‪Stonebriar Drive‬ (‪659939718‬) | OpenStreetMap

Kurviger won’t route there. My recommendation would be to either:

  • Start your route right outside of your community
  • You could use the beeline feature of Kurviger to include your actual home address
  • If the community access is not private, you could consider changing the OSM data from private to a different value. That said, at least on Google Street View, access private seems to be the right value.

Thank you for your rapid response. I have been using a point outside of the gate but I just wanted to be more accurate. As for the “beeline” I did find an article from Sept 2024 regarding Beeline which others had commented on. I looked for that option and it does not exist on my app. Was it tried then removed?
