New Carpuride display with Android 14 and app installation

I just got an e-mail from Carpuride that they now have a new device that has Android 14 as full fledged OS and a GPS module and that the user can install apps, amongst others also Kurviger directly on the device.

This would mean that the smart phone would actually not be needed for Android Auto or Apple Car Play anymore, only as a hot spot if live maps are required.

In light of the immense battery usage of Kurviger ind combination with Android Auto and the enormously generated heat as a result, this might just be a worthwhile investment.

Das ist sehr interessant! Vielleicht kann dieses Modell die teureren Dmd t865 oder carpe iter gut ersetzen! Carpuride zeigt einen Preis von 380 $ an (ca 325 €)

Ich habe mir den Beitrag noch nicht angeschaut, aber ist da auch ne Anbindung an das Kontrollrad bei den BMWs geplant.
