New Roadtrip!

Hi guys!

Winter is coming so that means planning a new route for next summer’s roadtrip.
I had a blast last time but had to leave out some places like the french alps and the stelvio + gaviapass because of

  1. some mechanical issues which forced me to stop for 1 day.
  2. buttpain because i was riding a z800 with a standard seat. I learned that with this seat, around 250 km was the absolute daily maximum to drive in the mountains.

Now i have bought a 2018 MT09 with comfort seat which should allow me to ride for longer times without getting too uncomfortable.
The plan is to drive to a friend in Neuchatel by car with the bike in the back and start my tour there.
If you have any suggestions they are welcome!

thanks to @Guenther and @zaphod_42 for the great feedback last time! the lakes boulevards were indeed not too nice to ride with exception for brienzersee which was beautiful. As promised, some pictures below

Hi,
i took a look at your planning.
Two points i saw in a short view.

  1. Your waypoints not direkt on the Street. (for shaping points mostly no problem)
  2. You often use “tussenpoints” (zwischenziele) instead of shaping. I can not see reason. But this one (blue) kurviger want to drive direct. If there is a closed road you have the problem then in bypass! Can happen

Normally I used more shaping points but I saw in the previous routes that these don’t show up in the navigation so for me it’s easier to see how far I still need to go to each point while riding. If a route is closed I can just alter it because I will almost always have internet during the ride.
