No routing updates for a few days, OSM is in maintenance

Just a quick update. OSM is currently in maintenance mode, due to a serious outage of their ISP, see: OpenStreetMap Ops Team (@osm_tech@en.osm.town) - OSM Town | Mapstodon for OpenStreetMap

During this time, we will not provide any map updates as well (as the map data hasn’t changed). So don’t be surprised if there are no updates :slight_smile: - I expect that we will be able to resume regular updates by the end of the week or so, depending on how fast OSM can recover.

Hopefully, there should not be any outages of Kurviger or any features of Kurviger due to that.

Habe es auch schon festgestellt. Ich wollte ein Hotel in Frankreich einpflegen in der OSM Karte und konnte mich nur im Lesemodus anmelden. Das Hotel hat eine richtig gute Lage und wir werden es nächstes Jahr mal anfahren mit dem Anhänger, wenn wir uns dort einbuchen können.

I have already noticed this. I wanted to add a hotel in France to the OSM map and could only log in in read-only mode. The hotel is in a really good location and we’ll drive to it next year with the trailer if we can book in there.

Je l’ai déjà constaté. J’ai voulu ajouter un hôtel en France sur la carte OSM et je n’ai pu me connecter qu’en mode lecture. L’hôtel est vraiment bien situé et nous nous y rendrons l’année prochaine avec la remorque, si nous pouvons nous y inscrire.

Thanks, that’s good news. We will keep an eye on the situation and probably start our imports in 1-2 days again.

OSM timestamp is still on Dec, 25th for the maps on my phone. Impatient or issue?

Impatient :wink: - it was December 13th or something like that before. Right now our import pipline is still slightly behind, but automatic updates are active and the next update should happen soonish.

Today (25th of May) I still see OSM timestamp 20th of May. I see it in app and on website.
Is this an individual issue for me or do others also see this 5 days old timestamp?

Du hast genau während dem Update geschrieben. Mittlerweile ist es der 24.:innocent:

Beim letzten update gab es ein kleines Problem.

Danke - klappte vorhin nicht auf Anhieb, musste erst lokale Daten löschen, damit das Datum aktualisiert wurde.
Habe ungeduldig seit 3 Tagen geprüft, da ich meine OSM Änderungen testen wollte - habe auch tatsächlich einen Fehler gemacht, ist korrigiert:
