Hola. Voy a comprar el paquete Tourer + con la prueba gratuita de 7 días. Durante estos 7 días la app de navegación es diferente a la original? Y si es así en qué difieren una de la otra?

Gracias!! Proximamente tengo un viaje a Marruecos. Diseñaré mis rutas con el planificador. A la hora de navegarlas con la app necesito descargarme los mapas del pais?

Well, If you expect to have no Internet, I would download the offline map of that area.

Kurviger can navigate offline preplanned routes, but it cannot recalculate a new route offline.

My recommendation if you expect longer parts without Internet:

  • Export your routes as *.kurviger file onto your device. So you have a Backup if things go wrong.
    Kurviger file contains all routing information and you can import them when needed.
  • switch off automatic recalculation as it won’t work offline.
  • Test offline situation at Home.
    You can put your phone into flight mode for testing.

Bueno, mi idea es navegar siempre sin conexión a internet, con rutas planificadas siempre, incluso en mi zona. Tengo un teléfono rugerizado específico para eso. En principio no quiero compartir internet con mi móvil particular, ni usar tarjeta sim. De qué tipo de cosas no podré disfrutar en la app al navegar así, sin conexión?

Without Internet

  • you have no Cloud.
  • no planning of routes.
  • no recalculation while navigating.
    So if you miss a turn, you need to find back to your Route by looking on the map.
  • no possibility to save recorded GPX tracks of your ride.

I would recommend to have at least some Internet at the end of the day.

Test offline situation at Home
You can test route planning and Import/Export - without any subscription - with the free Version.
So you don’t loose time of your 7 day test subscription.

For Navigation you need the 7 day test subskription

Ok. Pero si salgo con la ruta planificada y cargada en la app de navegación, ¿me informa de la velocidad de la vía, la distancia a la próxima gasolinera durante la navegación?

Speed Limit:
In theory yes, but that depends on OpenStreetMap. If someone had entered it, than yes.
I would not count on that in Morocco.

Distance to fuel Station:
You can see fuel Stations on the map during navigation.
Best to plan your fuel stops in advance.
Put a Via Point at each planned fuel Station. Kurviger shows the distance to the next Via Point

Genial!! Algo que se me olvidaba… que ocurre con los rádares fijos de velocidad? Me avisa aunque vaya sin conexión?

The app does not give any warnings about speed cameras - with or without internet access.

The only information that you receive is currently applicable speed limit, if it is available in OSM data.

Muchas gracias por la info!! Me ha dejado un poco triste lo de que no exista advertencia sobre los rádares… Qué estáis haciendo par solucionar esto?
