Remove yellow dot

Hi all,

I want to remove a yellow dot on the map. I cannot seem to figure it out.
The route wants to got right and I want to go straight. Se my attachment.
I guess I could go on between 30 and 31?

Hello

You cannot move yellow dots. You can only move dots with a number, as in your example, because this is a waypoint (SP or VP).

However, you can also change the curve to fast (highway symbol) between points 30 and 31.

However, in such cases, it is always best to provide the entire route here as a short link, as there may be other reasons.

You cannot remove the yellow dots, but you can make them invisible:

The fact that the route chooses the “detour” in this case is probably due to the Kurviger algorithm. There are no apparent reasons for this in OSM. Perhaps it’s because of the number of lanes (3 before and 2 after the junction).

Could these bollards (Node: 1126401952 | OpenStreetMap) be the problem (i.e., OSM error)?

I do not think they should be associated with the N5 road.

Also, the turn Kurviger suggests should be illegal - also here OSM could be updated.

Thank you, and in this case, the problem lies with OSM. So that you can continue planning without having to wait for a possible change at OSM, use a straight line between the two points.

That could be true … even BRouter takes the “detour”:

I commented on the OSM - someone added this relation 18 days ago using StreetComplete, but I highly doubt it is correct, although I do not have local knowledge.
