I’ve planned a route but the app is suggesting there may be a road closure on the route. I’ve checked other apps and can find no road closure, how often is the data updated?

The road closure in your screenshot is a “potential closure” that could or could not concern you (e.g. a winter closure or decibel limit). That map data stems from OSM. Click on the closure icon to view more information about it.
The “current closures” stem from TomTom data and are updated daily.
