Yup. After recalculation all VPs and SPs that were visited disappear. You can retrive thim with “undo” if you pause the route. Not aleays optimal, but that’s how it works.
The recalculation does not move or set any SPs. It just removes them from the route.
O.k., so it could happen - if I’m driving far away from my route (road block) and a SP on the way after and near the road block was set at planning time - that the recalculation doesn’t remove this SP, because this SP was not driven over after the road block? So the recalculation would lead you to (and through) this SP, although it would be better to leave it alone and drive to the next SP after this one to shorten the length to the destination?
Unfortunately, I cannot answer your questions, as the exact conditions for skipping the SPs are not publicly shared. Maybe someone from the team can advise you.
As user to user answer - partially due to this lack of understanding, I personally gave up on automatic recalculations and have switched it off many months ago.
I plan the route the way I want to ride it using a mix of SPs and VPs according to their intended purpose. When I have to leave the route for whatever reason - I keep the awareness where I left it and try to rejoin without recalculation. If I have no clue how to return to the route - only then I would do manual skips (if needed) and route recalculation.
What does a dev say to this “lack of understanding”?

Here definitions of all points. Just as info or to re-read.
The use of shaping points is to change the shape of the route like driving a certain road. But these are more or less optional.
When you decide on your trip to drive elsewhere the SP can be skipped. More or less when the point is behind you. I use thid often to skip some optional loop. If I am tired, I just drive straight and after some hints to turn, the SP should be skipped amd all is fine.
This is very practically, as the point is automatically skipped and Kurviger does not force you to manually skip or even to pause an re-plan.
Means, I drive normally with re-calculation. The re-calculation will calculate to next point. Dependent how far you are away from your route, it may happen that the recalculated route deviates from your planning, as from your current position a better route is calculated to the next point. For me acceptable, or I just set more SP to stabilze my planned route.
If you do not accept deviations, switch recaluation to off, and in case you deviate, perhaps there is a a road under construction, drive by orientation until you are back on the route.
A lot of words. Just create some routes with SP’s and drive another way. Learning by doing and check what happens.

With point in “The re-calculation will calculate to next point” you mean an SP or/and a Via point?
Does it matter, when the recalculation is on, if it is a SP or a Via point, because I’ve read, that a Via point always is meant to be driven to. So an SP point could be omitted in a recalculation situation, routing to the next SP point, if it is shorter. But if it is a Via point, this is not omitted, and you are routed to this via piont, also if it is a longer (backwards) way? I Know I can manually skip a via point, but lets assume, I don’t choose it in a road block situation and the recalculation begins.
Does kurviger react in a different way in case of a Via point in oppsite to a SP point?
Just next point. SP, VP or destination.
Recalculation may automatically skip a SP if ot more less behind you. VP should never be skipped (should = rare cases, I think if you arrive at your destination or some other extreme situations, never experienced this for normal tours, but I also have non-normal routes, where nothing helps

So curious? Seems you will create a lot test routes. Try it, have fun with testing and get some feeling.
With this experience you can play, decide to set more or less SP, switch on recalculation, or switch off depending on situation (how important to keep the route, bad internet expected ..). Find edge cases and avoid those..
Just as addition. Avoid setting SP’s too near, try to set about 500m, better 1000m from each other where possible. On recalculation Kurviger checks not the position of 5m, but around at least 300 to 500m.
If a recalculation happens at such a point (you drive a brezel or forward and back on same road), Kurviger may skip more than just one point. These are typical situations, when you return before lunch is ready.
Edit Do not know your technical experience. I often use the App Mock Location (playstore, developer Dvaoru) or Lockito. This fakes your GPS-Location. Draw a route or import a gpx in Mock location and let it run. Then start navigation in Kurviger. This way it is possible to do some testing at home.
